Jimmy's Workshop Woodworking Kits

Fear Not little DIY builders and makers, your woodworking skills are about to get an upgrade with the new additions to Jimmy's Workshop wooden toy model kits. Designed with the intention of introducing and refining basic woodworking skills through an exciting and tangible experience.

Inspired by Jimmy’s Diresta’s creativity and desire to reach young makers, Zukun teamed with Moab Ventures to explore and bring to life complex objects through simple forms, basic functionality, and engaging play interaction. Kids and parents can work together to build the kids. During the process kids are presented with a range to tasks, whether its locating and removing the laser cut plywood parts, prepping parts for assembly, sanding, gluing, clamping and prepping for paint customization, while being guided by simple instructions. Seeing a project through from start to finish builds confidence in life, but most importantly the confidence and skills for the next wooden model build.

Zukun worked closely with Moab Ventures teams to understand exactly what Jimmy Diresta wanted to bring to life in Jimmy’s Workshop new product offerings. The fun vehicles and action toys will surely keep your child's imagination and hands playing or making all day long.
