ENLITEN EV Concept Tires

Bridgestone has been leading the industry pursuit of a sustainable tire. To do this they are integrating recycled and renewable materials into their tires, designing them for end of life, and sensorizing them with continuous monitoring of temperature and air pressure to alter drivers and fleet managers when maintenance is needed to prolong their life.

AIRIDE EV Concept Springs

Firestone is leading EV suspension technology with Airide springs. These springs monitor and respond to road conditions much faster than conventional springs significantly improving ride quality.

Sensory Feedback Loop

By closing the loop between tire, suspension and central computing within a vehicle Bridgestone can monitor and relay data to a vehicle’s system for corner loading, road conditions and performance of tires and springs.

Dynamic Story

The strategic initiatives team at Bridgestone conceived-of and organized a team to produce a dynamic show piece to educate visitors at CES 2023. A multi-faceted team coordinated closely to conceptualize, refine and ultimately build an EV chassis display to celebrate the Smart Corner vision.

The combination of physical models, lighting effects and animations focused on the unique characteristics of the Smart Corner created an easy to view, dynamic storytelling experience that brought these invisible benefits to life.

Coordinated Execution

Zukun fleshed out the vision for the chassis, then translated the concept design into a physical build durable enough to handle tradeshow interaction. The chassis mounted into a dynamic video screen running underneath and up the wall behind, while lighting in the air springs and tires coordinated with onscreen animations.
